Archaeological Survey of India has started the work of digitization of all the estampages preserved in the O/o The Directorate of Epigraphy, ASI, Mysuru, for the purpose of uploading the digitized estampages and make them available online under BharatSHRI project. The process of digitization of estampages are going in high swing and scholars/public can download and access high quality scanned estampages

After completion of the Bharat SHRI project, the scholars and general public can make use of all the digitized estampages, transcripts and metadata available online and can easily access them for research and general awareness purposes, which will help to know India's rich cultural heritage .
